Could lose conference title game and still seems a lock
Still get in over Ohio St
Over ACC
Over number 2 SEC team unless LSU beats AM and Georgia

Only conceivable way is if they lose, plus LSU beats Georgia (and A&M), and TCU and USC win out.

In that scenario probably Georgia, LSU, TCU, USC

Wonder if they'd give nudge to Alabama even with two losses. I kinda hope they do

If USC and TCU both lose then there's a lot of chaos
I was wanting to bet on that . But none of my books is even offering lines on bama to win the title .

You can bet on the Texans winning the Super Bowl or the Rockets winning the NbA title but you can’t bet on bama

If Notre Dame beats USC , that has to help Ohio St. Ohio St has better wins then Bama.. Bama hasn't had a good win all year

Giving a beat down to the #2 team on the road gives them a top 4 spot 100%.
Good luck

Honestly

Top 4 teams are probably Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama/Oregon

TCU resume more impressive than Ohio St regardless of whether you think they are better
I think that's debatable

They've been hanging on week to week in a worse conference. They deserve to get in if they go undefeated, but I wouldn't say their "resume" is better

Big 10 is trash
Maybe Big 12 is too
Ohio St did nothing special
Even if TCU lost 1 game you can debate it but with 0 losses it is not a debate
Ohio St got ass raped at home against Michigan
If TCU loses a game they should 100% be ahead of Ohio St even

Because you have people "voting" on who gets in....books don't know how to calculate odds on the "voting"....Texans and Rockets are judged on winning. That is the difference.

Hard to put odds on a glamor team that doesn't deserve to be in but might win a popular vote.

Lol. Always a homer. Always.

Ohio state gets stomped on their home field. They 100 percent don't deserve to be in play-off. If they had lost in Ann Arbor then their is an argument to be made....

If they lose a game, but don't win a conference title? I disagree - committee would absolutely put Ohio State over TCU if TCU loses the Big 12 Championship game.

What did TCU do special? Beat a 4-loss Texas team? Both Oklahoma teams suck

Big Ten isn't great, but it's absolutely a better conference than the Big 12

I wouldn't say they got "ass-raped". It got a little out of hand at the end, but Ohio State controlled the first half of the game pretty well. Outgained them by 100 yards even with those two long TD's. Buckeyes had chances to go up by a couple scores early, but just couldn't do it. They were outgaining MIchigan 200-48 when Michigan made that TD on 3rd and long. Ohio State inexplicably put an extra guy in the box when their front 7 was doing just fine. Just awful coaching...should have played zone.

You can't let a good team hang around. I thought it'd be a close game -- it was for the most part I think. Obviously got out of hand at the end

It wasn't like last year where they were physically overmatched. Michigan made plays when they had to, and made some huge plays that Ohio State didn't. They didn't make mistakes and Ohio State did. Buckeyes moved the ball pretty well. It looks super lopsided but it wasn't some monumental beatdown. Like if they played again, Ohio State could beat them

Do you mean if TCU runs the table?

In that case, yeah TCU does deserve it over them

If TCU loses the Big 12 title game, we both know Ohio State is 100% getting in over TCU though

Btw not saying we deserve to be in based on how we played

This year might be unique though because of all the carnage.
